Just been surfing the web – (necessary research for exams!) and came across twomore great sites. I don’t think I’m an activist or anything (I mean I wouldn’t live up a tree for six months to protest about anything… but some stuff that goes on just doesn’t seem, well, fair…

I mean we all know that a lot of the clothes we wear are made by people who are so poorly paid that they couldn’t even afford a pair of socks in this country – but there are people out there trying to do something about it…

Nikewatch – an organisation that has a lot of interesting (and practical) stuff about campaigning against exploitation of workers.

This is just funny – check it out – protest through pies!!!

see kym - i do have a sense of humour....

just been looking at kym's blogs, and she's *so* wrong!

i mean, i know she's a fashion robot, but does she even think about what she's saying??? caring about how corporates exploit their workers is not a fashion issue - its real people!!!!

take a look at these, kym:

more reasons why gap sucks
jonah peretti's hilarious exchanges with nike about customised shoes
and why this matters

and if you're still unsure, you could always get someone to make you a no logot-shirt...

Ever liked someone you know without them knowing it? I mean REALLY liked them? I know I have… and it’s not good. :-( Even worse when that person’s also going out with someone… even worse than that when the person they’re going out with is the wrong person for them…

Still, you don’t want to read about me feeling sorry for myself do you? I’m off to (still got to work, haven’t I?)

Feeling pretty good today. Revision’s going well. Think geography (which I hate) is going to be fine. I mean all my cousework’s fine. I mean I THINK my coursework’s fine. I hope. Aaaargh.

The waiting’s the worst bit. I reckon by the time the exams actually get here I’ll be so relieved I’ll go in with a smile on my face. Almost.

i've put my email address up, so if you have any suggestions or good ideas, drop me a line!

in the meantime, knowitall has been stopping me biting my nails down to the stumps...

more later.

I’m Abi and this is my blog. My best mate Jez has been running a blog for a while and kind of persuaded me to get into it too, so here I am. My name’s Abi Cooper and I’m a Year 11 student at High School in the UK. I’m into loads of stuff – the usual really. Reading books and watching films. I’m into books that make you think. Not like Jez who’s just into comics. My all time favourite is To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, which they made us read at school. I wasn’t complaining though cos it’s brilliant.

If you’re in the same boat as me (ie stuck in revision hell…) check this out – it’ll make your life easier with loads of useful tips etc. and help with planning (not very good at planning myself.)

ps here's more about Harper Lee
